Tasmota Matter EU Dual Smart Plug with ESP32-C3 and Independent Energy Monitoring
Two Outlets, Independent Control
Control and monitor two appliances independently with one compact EU smart plug.
Powered by an ESP32-C3 Wi-Fi chip, this dual smart plug comes with Matter-enabled Tasmota firmware, a BL0939 dual-channel energy metering chip and a built-in 16A relay system. Each outlet can be switched and monitored separately, while the maximum combined current of both outlets is 16A.
Key Features
Two independently controlled EU outlets
Independent energy monitoring for each outlet
ESP32-C3 Wi-Fi chip
Matter-enabled Tasmota firmware
Matter over Wi-Fi support
Local Tasmota web interface
MQTT and Home Assistant support
BL0939 dual-channel energy metering chip
Voltage, current, power and energy monitoring
Built-in 16A relay system
Maximum combined current: 16A
Local rules, schedules and timers
Tasmota OTA firmware updates
No mandatory manufacturer cloud service
2.4GHz Wi-Fi
Independent Dual-Outlet Control
Both outlets appear as separate control channels, allowing you to:
Turn Outlet 1 and Outlet 2 on or off independently
Create a different schedule for each appliance
Build individual automations and timers
View the operating status of each outlet
Control both channels through Matter, MQTT or Tasmota
Manage both outlets from Home Assistant
For example, one outlet can control a lamp while the other controls a fan, charger or other compatible appliance.
Dual-Channel Energy Monitoring
The built-in BL0939 chip monitors both output channels independently.
Available measurements include:
Supply voltage
Individual outlet current
Individual outlet active power
Individual outlet energy consumption
Combined operating information
Use this data to compare appliance consumption, identify standby power, track electricity usage and create power-based automations.
Matter Smart Home Support
Matter provides standardized local smart home control across compatible platforms.
A compatible Matter controller or hub is required. Available energy measurements and advanced functions may vary between Matter platforms.
Local Control
The local Tasmota web interface allows you to:
Control both outlets
View energy measurements
Configure Wi-Fi and MQTT
Create rules and timers
Change supported device settings
Check device status
Install OTA firmware updates
A proprietary app or mandatory cloud account is not required for normal local operation.
MQTT and Home Assistant
For advanced local automation, the plug can connect to Home Assistant through MQTT and supported Tasmota discovery functions.
Use Home Assistant to:
Control each outlet independently
Display power and energy data
Create schedules and automations
Send notifications based on power usage
Track long-term energy consumption
Automatically disconnect standby devices
An MQTT broker is required when using MQTT integration.

Important Information
The maximum current is 16A combined across both outlets.
Each outlet cannot carry 16A simultaneously.
The total connected load must not exceed 16A.
A compatible Matter controller is required for Matter integration.
Matter features and exposed energy entities may vary by platform.
A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network is required.
An MQTT broker is required when using MQTT.
Actual safe load depends on appliance type, inrush current, temperature and local electrical regulations.
Use an appropriate safety margin for high-power, inductive, motor-driven or continuous loads.
Advanced configuration requires basic Tasmota knowledge.
