Neutral and No-Neutral Installation
This switch supports two common wiring methods:
With Neutral Wire
Recommended when a neutral wire is available in the wall box. This wiring method generally provides the most stable power supply and broad load compatibility.
Without Neutral Wire
Designed for older installations where only the live wire and switched live wire are available inside the wall box.
Load compatibility may vary in no-neutral mode. Some low-power LED lamps may require a compatible bypass capacitor to prevent flickering or incomplete switch-off. Please follow the wiring diagram supplied with the product.
Built-In ESP32-C3
The ESP32-C3 provides reliable performance for modern local smart home applications.
Its efficient architecture supports:
Fast switch response
Stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity
Matter communication
Tasmota automation functions
Local device management
Wireless firmware updates
Tasmota Firmware Pre-Installed
The switch arrives with Tasmota firmware already installed, giving you more control and flexibility than a closed cloud-based device.
Depending on your configuration, Tasmota provides:
Local web-based control
MQTT communication
Home Assistant integration
Rules and timers
Device status monitoring
Custom configuration options
OTA firmware updates
Local operation without a mandatory cloud account
Matter Smart Home Support
Matter allows the switch to work with compatible smart home ecosystems through a standardized local protocol.
A compatible Matter controller or hub may be required. Available functions can vary between platforms and controller versions.
Local Control and Fast Response
The switch can continue to operate as a normal physical wall switch, even when the network is unavailable.
With local Tasmota, MQTT or Matter control, commands are processed inside your home network whenever supported by your chosen platform. This provides faster response and reduces dependence on external cloud services.
Ideal for Local Smart Homes
Suitable for:
Home Assistant systems
Matter-based smart homes
Tasmota installations
MQTT automation systems
Local smart lighting
Renovation projects
Homes with or without a neutral wire
Users who prefer open and customizable firmware
