    Is my LED controller bricked?

    in WLED Related

I just received my LED controller (the smaller, 2amp version) - after hooking it up to a 5v power supply by itself (no led strip), I connected to the AP, setup the network configuration. So far so good, after this I added it in the WLED app, as well as connected it through my browser, again, so far so good.

At this point i disconnected the power and left the house for a bit.

After coming back home, I reconnected the power supply to the controller, and nothing works. I cannot connect through it from the app, nor is it even connected to the wifi anymore (i checked this by doing a PING to the ip as well as checking the connected clients from my router setup. It's simply not there.

I tried multiple ways of resetting the device, holding the button 7 seconds according to the manual. 10 seconds according to the forum, it just doesn't work. Am i doing the reset the wrong way? Is there another procedure to get this device to return to factory settings?

Is my LED controller bricked? I am finding no luck whatsoever to get this thing to reset. Kindly help!

    Many thanks in advance.
