Update ESP32 Music Addressable LED Strip Controller

I have purchased a WLED ESP32 Music Addressable LED Strip Controller and would like to integrate it into home assistant.

Unfortunately this does not work because the controller supplied has v0.13.3 and home assistant needs 0.14 or newer.

I often read here about problems with the OTA update of the controllers. Can I update the controller OTA. And which version of WLED can I use?
