WLED Related

Hello!

I have two Athom LED controllers (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004929457839.html) and I'm struggling to get them running with my 2805 RGBCCT strips (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006420002446.html).

I can access the controllers without any problem and setting wled to 281x with GPIO 18 the LED strip turns on but the colors are completely wrong. It's more a soft rainbow than a solid red or blue for example.

Changing RBG to RBG BRG etc doesn't have any bigger impact. The strip flickers, changes slightly color but that's it. It's still a rainbow.

My google search led me here and I might have found, that it's a SRWLED version issue?

Can it be that the version 0.13.3 on my controllers is too old? If I saw correctly, newer versions of WLED (non-SR) seem to support my strip?

I'm willing to compromise and give up on the SR-feature to get my strips working. Can I simply install a newer WLED version? If so, how do I chose the correct one?

For version 0.14.4 for example, there are 15W, 3 pin, 4 pin and some more versions.
